This video was shot on July 9, 2025 on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin.
Greetings friends! I fished with an old friend today but we've never fished together. Come along and join Ken and me on Lake Winnebago for some walleye action.
Ken will fish with crawlers. I'll fish with plastic minnow baits. And I end of fishing with crawlers a bit because that's what the fish want. After I catch a few nice fish I go back to plastics.
We fish crawlers slower and closer to bottom than jig & plastic. Some days the walleyes prefer a faster presentation. Today they like a bit slow and that's where the night crawlers came through.
We caught 33 fish. 11 of them were walleyes. The rest were fresh water drum (aka sheephead).
Come along on our fishing adventure. One of us takes a tumble in the boat. One of us catches a 20 inch walleye. One of us catches a 23 1/4 inch sheep. Both of us have a great time.
Join me, Captain Kirk, on a guided adventure on Lake Winnebago. Limit dates are available.
