As students who have received services on IEP’s and 504 plan to enter the post-secondary arena, the focus of this webinar will be on information and clarity on the process for this transition and strategies and approaches to support their success.
o Workshop attendees will gain an understanding of the difference between services and accommodations for students from K-12 to college/post-secondary settings and how best to prepare for success through fostering independence, metacognition and self-advocacy skills, particularly for students identified on the Autism Spectrum.
o Attendees will explore strategies and curriculum to help students develop employability and academic skills to make a successful transition and to identify strengths-based language to communicate support needs and skill levels.
