Holy Rosary Today Monday, January 19, 2026 | Joyful Mysteries | Persevere in Prayer. Don’t Give Up

Today we pray the Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) on January 19, 2026, contemplating the mysteries of God’s joy entering our lives: the Annunciation, the Visitation, the Nativity of Jesus, the Presentation in the Temple, and the Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple. In these mysteries we learn that God works with patience and faithfulness: faith grows step by step, hope is strengthened by consistency, and love is tested over time.

Today’s intention: to persevere in prayer and not give up. Lord, free us from lukewarmness and spiritual abandonment. Give us simple hearts that return to You even when we feel dry, distracted, or wounded. When we don’t feel like praying, give us obedience; when we feel nothing, give us fidelity; when we lack words, give us prayerful silence; and when we fall, lift us up to begin again.

We pray for those who have been asking for the same thing for months or years: for healing, for work, for a loved one’s conversion, for reconciliation, for a door that won’t open. Lord, strengthen their patience, keep despair from stealing their peace, and teach them to trust Your timing. Give us the grace to persevere without bitterness and without comparison—without looking at others who seem to get answers faster, and without placing conditions on Your love.

We also pray for those who get easily distracted, for those who fall asleep while praying, for those who stop because they feel unworthy, and for those who drifted away due to wounds or disappointments. Jesus, call them back with tenderness, and give them the gift of starting again. May our prayer be not only an emotion, but a daily choice: a small “yes,” repeated with faithfulness.

Blessed Virgin Mary, faithful woman, teach us to keep the Word, to wait without complaining, and to trust without trying to control everything. Holy Spirit, ignite in us the desire to pray; make our home a place of prayer; and give us discipline to pray even when our hearts feel heavy.

Lord Jesus, may this Rosary be a school of perseverance: teach us to seek You each day, to remain with You, and never to give up. You are faithful. You listen. You sustain.
