I joined the Dériveur Zef group ( / 681628081872778 ) for a sail on the river Erdre, a tributary of the Loire that flows through Nantes. King François I in the 16th century called it the most beautiful river in France and I am inclined to agree. Sailing is not easy due to the changing winds. One person related seeing two boats passing each other and both with a following wind! It was great to have some social life with a common interest with such friendly and lively people.
