Windlass woes, Tohatsu troubles.

In this week’s video, we install a Winchmax windlass remote on Lady Aquitaine the yacht of Patreons Ian & Dasha a 57ft Hanse. After Ian’s wander lead failed somewhere deep in the boat’s wiring loom, we helped them safely get on a buoy and rigged a temporary fix so they could still anchor.

We then ordered a Winchmax unit for just £42.95, which Cindy brought back with her. Fast forward a few days, and Ian’s boat now has full remote control of the windlass from anywhere onboard—sorted!

Elsewhere in the episode, our Tohatsu 3.5hp outboard we are repairing gives us a big headache and there are daytime fireworks and fighting fish making things lively around the boat. Enjoy the video guys.
