Death Guard Plague Marines Icon Bearer (Paint Tutorial)

There is the simple way to paint Death Guard Plague Marines Icon Bearer. Save it to not lose.

For the beginning let’s add black primer.
And light over it for the contrast painting. We need to apply it from above at a 45-degree angle for the light simulation.

For the main color I will use Brownish Decay. It looks great and dirty enough. You can play with Medium.

Let’s take white to fix some issues I did.

I use Grim Black, it makes great dark contrast.

Then my lovely steel color for the staff.

Pallid Bone fits perfect to bones and skulls.

Talos Bronze we can use over the whole miniature. It applies good even on dark surface and fix some issues from basic color.

Satchel Brown for all leather elements.

Polished Silver for all metal parts. So, take your time, find all chains and bolts.

Mix any red with blue, it makes great and deep burgundy color.

And of cause tentacles, lovely part of all Plague Marines. Mix light purple.

Finally we can use Strong Tone to increase the contrast and make the miniature even more dirty.

Looks very glamorous.
