A High-Level Delegation from the African Union's Panel of the Wise Arrived in Juba, South Sudan 🇸🇸 on April 2, 2025, to support the ongoing peace process.
The African Union’s Panel of the Wise, which includes H.E. Domitien Ndayizeye, the former President of the Republic of Burundi, and Hon. Justice Effie Owuor from Kenya arrived in Juba on Tuesday afternoon (April 2, 2025), and they were welcomed by Ambassador Philip Jada, the Director General of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
The purpose of this visit is to build on previous engagements and to reinforce the Panel’s commitment to the full implementation of the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS 2018).
