This is a short video comparing the Sony 35mm f1.8, the SLR Magic 35mm f1.7 and the new SLR Magic 35mm T1.4 Cinelens.
I've seen quite a few photography comparisons between the SEL35f18, the SAL35f18 and the Sigma 30mm but none from the perspective of a videographer.
I shot all 3 lenses in two locations in the following sequence:
Location 1 - workshop
SLR Magic T/1.4
SLR Magic f/1.7
Sony f/1.8 OSS
Location 2 - studio
SLR Magic T/1.4
SLR Magic f/1.7
Sony f/1.8 OSS
All footage was shot handheld & manually - no autofocus or autoexposure. Footage is straight out of the camera with no post-processing.
