I’m finally back on the bike after a full week off with a knee injury. As an overweight beginner trying to lose weight through indoor cycling, every setback feels bigger than it should… and this one definitely knocked my confidence.
Today’s ride wasn’t about speed or distance — it was about seeing whether my knee could handle anything after a painful week away. I didn’t know if I’d last 30 seconds or 5 minutes… but I showed up anyway.
If you’re on your own fitness or weight-loss journey, especially starting from a tough place, I hope this episode shows that small steps still count. Showing up matters. Even when it’s a short ride. Even when you’re worried you’ll fail.
Thanks for being part of this journey. More weekly episodes coming every Monday at 5pm.
WHO I AM
I’m an overweight beginner documenting my real-time transformation using indoor cycling and healthier habits. No experts. No shortcuts. Just the honest process of trying to get fitter, week by week.
