In this video filmed on the Sunday 31st August 2025 at Mordialloc with single line running, Kananook and Bonbeach.
Saw the first transfer of XT2 to Kananook Sidings along the Frankston Line. Once again towed by Alstom Knorr Comeng.
Firstly heading through and for the first time at Mordialloc with it single platform formation with level crossing works taking place, hope you loved the horn show!
Secondly at Kananook Station near the bypass track, admittedly we stuffed up not knowing where the XT2 was being put in the yard. We missed good shots on the actual platform fearing missing it. But we did capture a rare propelled move where the train is driven in reverse from the very back with drivers in the front directing.
Then finally a zip through at Bonbeach with just the Comeng heading back to Newport!
