The Sladmore Gallery has been at the forefront of appreciation of bronze animal sculptures since it was opened by the Horswell family in the 1960s. In this latest Sotheby’s video, Edward Horswell talks about his love of bronze sculptures. Find out about the fantastic array of sculptures offered in Sotheby’s upcoming sale Sladmore: Life in Bronze (31 March – 6 April) from the finest casts by the great 19th-century sculptor, Antoine-Louis Barye, to the exquisite bronzes of Rembrandt Bugatti as well as contemporary works by Mark Coreth, Geoffrey Dashwood and Sophie Dickens.
