Late September 2022 and I took a walk from my home in Okehampton out to Black Tor, a return ramble of about 22 kilometres.
My route took me up to Ashbury Tor, where the video starts, then on to East Hill with good views of Okehampton below. From there it was the open moor, across Black Down, Red-a-ven Brook, Okehampton Common, Snipers Gully and to Black Tor for lunch. Heading back I went over Longstone Hill down into Meldon Quarry and then took the Granite Way back into Okehampton.
