Common ENT conditions
in children and babies:
Otitis Media: An infection of the middle ear, often accompanied by ear pain, fever, and sometimes hearing difficulties.

Otitis Externa: Also known as swimmer's ear, this is an infection of the outer ear canal, causing pain, itching, and sometimes discharge.

Tonsillitis: Inflammation of the tonsils, often causing sore throat, difficulty swallowing, and fever.

Adenoiditis: Inflammation of the adenoids, which are glands located at the back of the throat near the tonsils. Symptoms may include nasal congestion, difficulty breathing through the nose, and snoring.

Allergic Rhinitis: An allergic reaction affecting the nose, causing symptoms such as sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, itching, and watery eyes.

Sinusitis: Inflammation of the sinuses, which can occur due to infection or allergies, leading to symptoms such as nasal congestion, facial pain or pressure, and cough.

Epistaxis (Nosebleeds): Bleeding from the nose, often caused by dry air, nasal irritation, or injury.

Laryngomalacia: A condition where the tissue above the vocal cords is floppy, causing noisy breathing or stridor in infants.

Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis (RRP): A rare condition caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), resulting in the growth of warty growths in the airway.

Cleft Lip and Palate: Structural abnormalities present at birth affecting the lip and/or the roof of the mouth.

It's essential to consult a pediatrician or an ENT specialist if you suspect your child has any of these conditions for proper diagnosis and treatment.
