🕋 Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow)

Arabic (العربية):
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
الم
ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ
وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ



🌏 English Translation:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Alif-Lam-Meem.
This is the Book about which there is no doubt,
a guidance for those conscious of Allah —
who believe in the unseen,
establish prayer,
and spend out of what We have provided for them.



📖 Brief Meaning:

Surah Al-Baqarah is the longest Surah of the Qur’an, revealed in Madinah.
It covers faith, worship, law, guidance, morality, patience, and the importance of the Qur’an itself.
It teaches believers how to live a righteous life in accordance with Allah’s commands.



🌿 Benefits:

Reciting Surah Al-Baqarah protects the home from Shaitan (Satan).

It brings peace, blessings, and guidance to one’s life.

The last two verses (Ayat 285–286) are a shield against evil and harm.

It strengthens faith, patience, and understanding of Islamic principles.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Recite Surah Al-Baqarah, for taking recourse to it is a blessing and giving it up is a cause of grief.” (Muslim)
