The Archer is my favorite song from Lover. When it was released, I had just left my parents' house for college, had just ended a relationship of years to follow the dream of graduation and was feeling very lonely, homesick and away from all my friends. I couldn't stop wondering if this was the right choice. The Archer made me feel less alone, at least a little understood. The creative process for this video came on a day when the same doubts, fears and feelings hit me again, I needed to get out what it's been like to be a woman and to be always torn between the dream career and love. I give you the result and I hope you like it.
