Amid the ongoing election atmosphere in Bangladesh, incidents of violence against religious minorities have reportedly increased. In a shocking incident, a 23-year-old Hindu youth, Chanchal Bhowmik, was allegedly burnt alive inside his own shop in Narsingdi on Friday night. According to reports, attackers locked the shop shutter, poured petrol, and set it on fire before fleeing the scene.
