Nestled in the south of Laos are 4,000 islands. These aren’t your typical beachy islands you’re used to seeing in countries like Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. Instead, these islands are scattered along the Mekong River. Now I don’t know about you, but I’ve never been to islands on a river.
What better way than to spend the day cycling around the two main islands of the 4,000: Don Det and Don Khone. Join us as we see the widest waterfall in the world and see the sights that the islands have to offer. They’re peaceful, sleepy and bags of fun!
