I recently went to Kilkenny to visit the gardens. The intention was that I would get the most of the Autumn colour available with the plants on display there but I didn't get it as good as I had expected. I give an explanation as to why this may be the case during the video.
Nonetheless I had a great day walking around the castle grounds and I would encourage anyone to go there. Have a look at the website before you go and plan the day in order to get the most from the visit.
Kilkenny is a great city with some fantastic shops and places to eat and drink. If you are not driving then you should have a few pints of Smithwicks while you are there.
