As optometrists, one of our biggest goals is providing clarity—both literally and figuratively. This was especially true for one complex case: a 70-year-old retired female optometrist who underwent Light Adjustable Lens™ (LAL®) treatment following cataract surgery, who also had a history of radial keratotomy, retinal tear repair, and severe dry eye. In this session, Nancy Draskovic-Dosen, OD presents the main challenges of managing her patient’s corneal instability, persistent iritis, and fluctuations due to dry eye, and the solutions they reached to overcome them.
