Adora Cheung is the co-founder and CEO of Homejoy (www.homejoy.com), the leading online platform for home services. With just a few clicks, Homejoy's online platform will match you with a screened, background-checked and certified professional cleaner who maintains high customer ratings. And at $20/hour, Homejoy makes a sparkling home an affordable reality for everyone. Adora started the company in July 2012 with her brother Aaron, and even built the first version of the platform and served as its first cleaner. Adora has now successfully grown the team and platform to serve hundreds of thousands of households in over 30 cities across North America. Prior to Homejoy, Adorawas a product manager at Slide, Inc. (acquired by Google). Adora holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Rochester and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Clemson University.
