Dr Garfield has a Ph.D. in Psychology from London South Bank University (2007) and is psychoanalytically trained (The Arbours, 2002). She is also an Advanced Practitioner and Trainer of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Advanced NLP Practitioner, Certified Psychoanalytic Energy Psychology Practitioner, and is a Registered Trauma Specialist. She is also on the Training and Certification Board of the international associative body for EFT, AAMET.
