Dr Reid Oliver's Story - ATWT - Part 76

Ok.... shortest argument in history, ha! I love how Reid doesn't lose his hold on his cool and is not going to back down to silly accusations. It's Luke... he would ALWAYS react like this! It's nice to see eventually he can trust someone and explicitly...

Reid is honest and unwavering and for that I love him more. The way Van played this scene is so brilliant. I'm sure in interviews he's said that he always enjoys when Luke's brought down a peg or two... he's fantastic at it! It's almost FUNNY! Reid's "good point" ... no dwelling on the rubbish and pointless disagreement... quits and moves on. sigh

Ok I know the Katie and Chris stuff is a little whiney (the way I see it anyway) but it has to be included for story purposes. Same with Bob and Kim. I do love them together.

Ok.... this is one of my favourite Reid sections for SO many reasons...

"tasty hot side dish" -- hahaha :D He's such a FLIRT and I swear has sex on the brain! It's nice to see Luke being treated with some of the same stuff HE usually would do. With Noah HE was always the fun playful one... (sometimes Noah would surprise but not often!) so it's so nice to see Luke getting that back :D

I LOVE how Luke makes Reid smile and how SUBTLY different he is around Luke! It's so special.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE when Kim says "not do bad yourself" Reid says thanks. Oh man. I don't know if that was a director thing or an Eric thing (like the sniffing the lemonade and drinking it) but whatever it was... it was so in character and so brilliant.

Awwww Luke's the CUTEST and most SUPPORTIVE side kick. It's always a shame he hasn't got a passion of his own or the DAMN writers forgot about his writing. Grrrr @ ATWT's completely utter tragic lack of continuity...

Some people REALLY didn't like Reid stepping in to help Chris but I don't see a problem with it and it's not because I'm entirely biased. He said it was Chris' idea, said it was impressive and helped someone he really has never expressed a care about. I seriously don't know if Reid would help Chris or give a damn if it didn't involve medical stuff ... maybe in his more advanced stage of being a human (ha!) he may have, I don't know but I think it's an admirable thing he did. Yes it was a little argument but he could have left Chris floundering and without hope... I think it's SUCH a shock that Reid did that. No WAY would he have done that a few months ago.

I can understand Luke's worries about the lifestyle but the fact that Reid is honest and open and TRUSTS Luke... that speaks VOLUMES and shows he's willing to share with him and trust Luke with pretty serious information... I just love how much of the NEW Reid this episode shows and it's kind of amazing....
