2Grass - Bernie's Tune/Luck of the Draw is an original song written by our guest, Bob Shuey, and our mutual friend, Mike Lose, to specifically honor a local Vietnam War hero, Bernard Gaines.
Bernard Gaines was a senior while Bob Shuey was a freshman in high school who unselfishly took the time to show Bob the finer points of long jumping and triple jumping, greatly helping Bob in his high school athletic career. Bernie's character impressed Bob, and Bob never forgot it.
We bring this to you today in honor of Veteran's Day and Memorial Day. We appreciate all the service and sacrifice on behalf of our country!
