Hauser type 241 pivot polisher / burnisher for clock pivots

I had picked this Hauser pivot burnisher / polisher up several years ago. I thought it would be a easy deal to get it running with its 3 phase motor. Taking it to the local experts, spending a bunch of cash, and being rather disappointed, recently a customer visiting my shop thought he would have the answer. Me, being a absolute dunce about electrical things cannot properly explain the issues, thought it had something to do with this Swiss machine originally running on 50hz....I think...and the phase pack I paid for was under powered for start up. Low and behold he did have the answer and the machine is now running, still a small glitch but satisfactory. I did not want to change the machines motor so I am very happy with how it works and keeping it original. I use it for polishing / burnishing clock wheel pivots in my clock shop.
