Guo Pei rose to global fame for her stunning creation that singer Rihanna wore to the 2015 Met Gala. Since then, China’s first haute couture designer has become a celebrity in her own right, thanks to her success in merging Chinese cultural heritage with international elements. In this episode of Listen to Her, Post editor Regina de Luna joins Guo on a tour of “Guo Pei: Fashioning Imagination”, the designer’s first major exhibition in East Asia under way at Hong Kong’s M+ museum from September 21, 2024, until April 6 2025.
