From Public School Principal to Private Sector: My Journey of Transformation and Resilience

After nearly two decades in public education, serving as a teacher, Dean, assistant principal, and finally as a middle school and high school principal, I’ve taken a major step forward in my life. Today, I'm sharing the journey that led me from public school education to the private sector. It’s been a month since I made the transition, and I want to address the questions I’ve received and dispel the notion that my leaving was due to burnout or a lack of success.

For years, I asked myself if the work I was doing was sustainable, and ultimately, I realized that prioritizing my health and well-being wasn’t just necessary—it was essential.
