In the heart of the cold and silent mountains, a woman named Zainab lives with her two young daughters, Zahra and Fatima, in a small, mud house. A house that she has built with her tired but loving hands from stone and soil.
Every morning, Zainab sets off for the mountains with a heart full of hope. With the wind blowing in her hair, she ties firewood around her shoulders with a nomadic rope to provide warmth for her home.
At the same time, her daughters gather small but precious seeds of life under the oak trees — two backpacks full of acorns for the long, cold nights in the mountains.
They live in poverty, but with dignity and love. A true picture of patience, resistance and motherly love amidst harsh but beautiful nature.
