I used my Ibanez Vai model Jem. You can hear the 24 frets and the floating trem. I plan to do a video on this guitar and what I did to the bridge to stabilize it.
I used an Orange OR15 which is responsible for the cleaner tones on its own. I used a Joe Satriani Ice 9 overdrive for the heavier tones and leads. The Orange 12" cabinet was mic'd with an Electrovoice RE20. The point of this song was to demo the mic.
Written after a 7.5 trail run with my brother in-law. I survived, and this song came out.
