My First European Motorcycle Road Trip 🇫🇷🇧🇪
I’ve finally done it — my first ride across Europe on two wheels. It wasn’t a huge expedition, but it was the perfect way to dip my toes in and get a feel for what’s possible.

Me and my mate Jay decided on a spontaneous one-day road trip. We caught the early morning ferry from Dover to Calais — 5:30am departure, 6 degrees, and pitch black. Definitely not the most comfortable start, but the buzz of riding into another country made it all worth it.

Our plan was ambitious: ride through northern France and into Belgium, aiming for the beautiful town of Bruges. But with limited time and a 7pm return ferry, we had to be realistic. We didn’t make it all the way to Bruges — but honestly, that didn’t matter.

This trip was less about the destination and more about the experience. Riding unfamiliar roads, figuring things out on the fly, and soaking in every moment. I also gave it my best go at capturing everything — filming, photographing, and storytelling while trying to stay present. Definitely learned a lot, and there’s loads I’ll improve for next time.

This was just the beginning. A warm-up for something bigger. And now that I’ve had a taste of what it’s like to ride through Europe… I’m hooked.
