This April, during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we gathered for a powerful evening that transformed art into action. In response to recent domestic violence tragedies in our community, Rise Up brought together survivors, advocates, and allies through poetry, dance, and a symbolic floral fashion show featuring local models who ignited the way forward.
This wasn't just a show—it was a movement. Through creative expression, we illuminated warning signs of abuse, celebrated healing journeys, and committed to breaking cycles of violence. Each performance, each walk down the runway, each shared story reminded us that art can be a powerful catalyst for healing, education, and change.
Together, we amplified voices of courage and recommitted to creating a community where everyone can thrive in safety and respect.
