Oh boy here we go! Time for the most savage game about Ponies in existence.

This theme works SO well for metal. It has that brutal-as-heck main riff that's just root, flat second, diminished 2nd, rinse & repeat. Perfect some gnarly rhythm guitar!

I took a lot of creative liberties as the theme went on with the rhythm guitars because I didn't want to simply repeat the main riff over and over. I tried a few variations of it incorporating some dynamic palm muting patterns but then opening it up to some big chords. This turned out sounding SO rad and makes it feel like a fully fleshed metal song!

However, for the leads, I actually was very faithful to the original because they're already so badass, That main tapping riff that is throughout the theme is so fun to play and is actually not too difficult even though it might sound like it!

However, something I had to do was solo over that main riff. It's rare that I get to bust out these types of exotic scales with my soloing and it reminds me of some sick technical metal like Necrophagist or Nile. I'm so happy with how that turned out!
