Imani's Story of Teaching in Spain with CIEE

What’s it like to teach English in Spain and live in Madrid? As a Language and Culture Assistant, Imani’s has loved the connections she’s been able to make with students. Outside of school, she has made friends through language exchanges and developed her Spanish skills. She also does freelance work as a graphic designer in her free time to make extra income. Living abroad while teaching in Spain has challenged her to be more independent and grow as a person.
