Sky-Byte was the second-in-command of the Predacons in the 2001 "Transformers: Robots In Disguise" anime series. Named 'Gelshark' in Japan as a reference to a Shocker sub-faction from the Kamen Rider franchise, Sky-Byte started out as a repaint of the Transmetal II Cybershark mold. This review covers the 2025 "Age of the Primes" toyline's remake of Sky-Byte. I was lucky enough to meet the late Peter Spellos, who provided Sky-Byte's voice in the English dub of the series, at TFNation 2019 before his death.
