We all know Donnie Thornberry as the feral, semi-adopted brother of Eliza. And he was by far the wildest member of their wacky family. Because Donnie spent a good portion of his childhood being raised by animals, he tended to have a very wild nature and he could only communicate using animal noises, but none that Eliza could understand. Here’s the thing, though, while Donnie may have been responsible for some of the funniest moments in The Wild Thornberrys, he also happened to have one of the saddest backstories in the entire series. I mean, do you remember what happened to Donnie’s parents when he was just a baby?
