In this episode of Medieval Sewing Made Easy, we show you how to attach a facing for a neckline, so it is consistent with the description given in Textiles and Clothing, 1150-1450.
We present two possible methods, that each give very similar results.
We hope to present more videos in future, demonstrating how to apply different kinds of facings on 14th century garments.
