Himeji Castle (姫路城), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Japan’s most famous and best-preserved castles. Easily reached in under two hours by train from Kyoto or Hiroshima (~1 hour by Shinkansen), Himeji Castle—also known as the White Heron Castle—is a masterpiece of traditional Japanese castle architecture, featuring brilliant white walls, original wooden structures, steep defensive stairways, and ingenious defense design.
As with all my travels, discovering local food is always part of the adventure.
All my videos are silent vlogs without talking, with music carefully selected to enrich the experience.
