This week was one of those weeks that tests you as a trader.

I took a high-risk countertrend trade on GBP CAD, and although my analysis on direction was right, my execution wasn’t. I got wicked out and ended up taking a nearly $200,000 loss. This wasn’t a random loss or reckless gambling this was a trade where the market did exactly what I expected after stopping me out.
