NEDERLANDS : "Diergaarde Blijdorp" is een dierentuin gelegen aan de stadsrand van Rotterdam (Nederland). Deze dierentuin trok de aandacht aan in 2007 met de spectaculaire ontsnapping van de mannetjesgorilla Bokito. De dierentuin is 28 hectare groot en werd onderverdeeld in verschillende landzones. Diergaarde Blijdorp heeft groot nieuws : die zal totaal van concept veranderen (Masterplan 2050). Focus op bepaalde dieren en een totaal andere visie dan nu met name : "Together we bring nature back to life’. Al is het nog lang wachten, we zijn reuzebenieuwd!

ENGLISH : “Diergaarde Blijdorp” is a zoo located on the city outskirts of Rotterdam (Netherlands). This zoo attracted attention in 2007 with the spectacular escape of the male gorilla Bokito. The zoo covers 28 hectares and was divided into several land zones. Blijdorp Zoo has big news : it will totally change its concept (Master Plan 2050). FRANCAIS : « Diergaarde Blijdorp » est un zoo situé à la périphérie de la ville de Rotterdam (Pays-Bas). Ce zoo a attiré l'attention en 2007 avec l'évasion spectaculaire du gorille mâle Bokito. Le zoo couvre 28 hectares et a été divisé en plusieurs zones. Le zoo de Blijdorp a une grande nouvelle : il va changer totalement de concept (Masterplan 2050). Il se concentrera sur certains animaux et aura une vision totalement différente de ce qu'elle est aujourd'hui : « Ensemble, nous ramenons la nature à la vie ». Même si l'attente est longue, nous sommes très curieux !
