A colourful and lively journey through Utrecht. 🌈
We explored the city during the Pride period and just one day after the Boat Parade. The city was vibrant with rainbow flags and posters.
One moment we'd turn a corner and find ourselves cycling through a completely quiet street, like a movie set... and then suddenly we'd be back in the middle of a lively square filled with people, bars, and terraces.
Utrecht is known for its next-level cycling infrastructure. Around 51% of all trips in the city center are made by bike, and the city is pioneering fietsstraten (bike-priority streets) where "cars are guests".
