Cirque du Soleil Singer Character Catalogue

Since this channel is dedicated to the music of Cirque du Soleil, it seemed normal to honor one day the characters who deliver these magnificent melodies for all these years. Luckily, the Singers character category also seems to be the fan favorite according to the poll.


Here are some notes to consider when viewing:

While none of these fantastic characters would exist without the artists and singers who embody them, this video is really about the character that exists in the worlds of the Cirque du Soleil. The photos chosen are not intended to promote a particular artist.

It was impossible to list all the events in the history of Cirque du Soleil that included a singer (in addition to having to attach an image and an audio clip), the video would have been much too long. Only the official ''Cirque du Soleil'' canon shows as well as the main events of the division ''Cirque du Soleil Events + Experiences'' were considered in the video.

Shows whose music is not an original creation by Cirque du Soleil (for example: LOVE, Michael Jackson ONE or Séptimo Día) or shows whose the in-universe are not an original creation by Cirque du Soleil (for example TORUK - The First Flight ) were not considered for this video. Shows that do not have a live singer, i.e. only pre-record voice (for exemple mostly all the At Sea Show or 'Twas The Night Before) are not include too.

Despite the many sources consulted, all materials combined, most of the characters unfortunately do not have specific names. They will then be simply named by 'Chanteur/Chanteuse' for events taking place in Quebec or under the name of 'Singer' for other events.

Characters who do not have the primary vocation of singer in the shows but who occasionally sing have not been included voluntarily (for example the Baron of Saltimbanco or the Pickled Lady of Zarkana)
