Eight Fire Departments Responding Mutual Aid to Third Alarm Fire in Mont Vernon, NH

On March 12, 2017, the Mont Vernon, Milford, and Amherst New Hampshire fire departments were dispatched to a reported fire in Mont Vernon. First-due units reported heavy fire and a second and third alarm were dispatched soon after. Shuttle operations were needed to draft from a nearby pond to provide additional water at the scene. At least eight departments sent units, including the following units filmed responding to the scene and fill site:

Mont Vernon | 21 Engine 1
Milford | 20 Engine 1, 20 Engine 3, and 20 Ladder 1
Wilton | 30 Tanker 1
New Boston | 76 Engine 1 and Tanker 1
Goffstown | 8 Engine 2
Amherst | 1 Tanker 1
Brookline | 5 Engine 3 and 5 Rescue 2
Lyndeborough | 16 Tanker 1

Other units on scene included Amherst Engine 3; Amherst EMS A1; Bedford Engine 1; and Mont Vernon Engine 2, Engine 3, and Tanker 1.
