Martin X Special Macassar Dreadnought Acoustic Electric Guitar Review. In this video I review my own personal Martin X Special Series dreadnought acoustic guitar that I have owned for two years. In my opinion, its tone is stunning and it has a gorgeous yet economical finish. The ebony fretboard is beautiful. There are a couple minor quirks to this model that I'll explain in the video. I'll demo the acoustic tone with a Royer R121 Ribbon mic and let you hear the Fishman electronics solo. This guitar is also available as a GPC X Ebony Top Grand Performance model and a 000 Auditorium Acoustic.
