John Robertson:
In 1968 he was the soloist for Arthur Fiedler's tour with the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation's Symphony Orchestra. He was Principal trumpet with the Sydney Symphony and professor of trumpet at the New South Wales State Conservatorium of Music. It is rumored that Doc Severinsen was influenced by Robertson's sound in developing his own concept.
