Race to the bridge, an event to remember the drive of the recconnisons jeeps of the Britisch Airborn division to the Arnhem bridge to take it by surprise. Also to rember the giant effort and sacrifice of the complete British Airborne division and the first Polish Airborne brigade to take and hold the Arnhem bridge to form a spearhead over the river the Rhine for the 1 Britsh army corps to end the war quick. Let us always rember these fine men who came to free us in september 1944. Location Benedendorpseweg Oosterbeek near the old church part of the original route of the recconnisons jeeps.
