Hello and welcome to MCT Trains 🚂 This weeks video is a special one featuring some of the final few months of service of South Western Railway's Class 455 unit. These iconic units have been around on the south London suburban lines for over 42 + years now. They are coming to the end of there time with more and more 701s finally coming into service. Right now in Dec 2025, most of the Class 455's have already gone for scrap 😔 with the remaining units holding on until they are withdrawn in late December 2025. An iconic unit, full of nostalgia of the BR and NSE era and my childhood!! I love these units and will be sad when they are finally stood down...
