Bradford pear is one of the most well-known and hated invasive trees in eastern North America. Its ability to spread quickly into native habitats has resulted in it being outlawed for sale in many areas. There are many native trees that are excellent alternatives to the Bradford pear and this video covers three of them. All the trees in this video are considered keystone species and are valuable to pollinators, as host plants and to wildlife in general.
