Argentina Gliding Nationals Race 9: rainshowers, low saves, dust devils, 90kms final glide: All in 1

Buenas amigos! Aquí tenemos el resumen de lo que fue la tarea n°9 del Campeonato Nacional Clase Club Tres Arroyos 2024. Volando el "3" LS3, junto a toda la banda del Club de Planeadores Junín: Javier Gaude en su DG200, los dos LS4 al mando de Javier Solans y Luis Bianciotto, los dos ASW20 al mando de Federico Franchini y Carlos Traverso.
En la grilla ya vimos el desarrollo de sombras y también de algunas mangas de agua, que se mantenían estacionarias, pero que afectaban directamente la zona de prueba. A pesar de ello había muy buenas condiciones en los alrededores. La decisión clave fue no habernos desviado lo suficiente para esquivar la nubosidad, cosa que si hicieron los ganadores, que llegaron a volar 30 kms viento abajo respecto del track, pero con una ganancia total en efectividad de vuelo.
Realmente fue un vuelo increíble, donde paso de todo, y terminamos cerrándolo con regreso al club, a pesar de haber sido un resultado bastante malo para todos nosotros. Mas allá de eso, fue una gran experiencia. Espero que lo disfruten tanto como lo he disfrutado yo, saludos! Suscríbanse!

Hi friends! Here we have the summary of what was task no.9 from the Club Class National Championship in Tres Arroyos, Argentina. Flying the "3" LS3, with all Club de Planeadores Junin partners: Javier Gaude flying his DG200, the two LS4 flying by Javier Solans and Luis Bianciotto, the two ASW20s commanded by Federico Franchini and Carlos Traverso.
On the grid we already saw the development of big high clouds with big shadows and also some rainshowers, which remained stationary, but which directly affected the area task. Despite this, there were very good conditions in the surroundings. The key decision was not having deviated enough to avoid the cloud cover, which the winners did, flying 30 km downwind from the track, but with a total gain in flight effectiveness.
It really was an incredible flight, where everything happened, and we ended up closing it with a return to the club, despite it having been a pretty bad result for all of us. Beyond that, it was a great experience. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed it, greetings! Subscribe!
