The action takes place during World War II. The turning point, the outcome of the war is at stake. Soviet intelligence obtained the information that Nazi Germany was just about to create the "uranium machine."
To verify the accuracy of this information, the headquarter is developing a special operation. Intelligence needs to capture a prisoner for interrogation that has access to secret data. Meanwhile, Vlad Volny, who was recruited by the Soviet secret services and lives in Germany, was to obtain the information about the developments being carried out in the Auerge Design Office. He meets a talented physicist, a former prisoner of a German concentration camp of Polish origin, Katerina Shtur. She is a member of the group of scientists who under top secrecy solve the problem of creating nuclear weapon.
