In this video, I will be showing you how to create your own TV Ambilight using a Raspberry Pi and the WS2182B LEDs! Basically what it does is sees the colors on the edge of your TV and displays that color onto the LEDs in realtime. Doing this not only provides a more immersive experience with entertainment but also creates a pretty awesome backlighting effect! Whether you're watching Netflix, playing on your console, or just watching YouTube, this setup will always work as long as you're watching through an HDMI input such as an Amazon Firestick, Roku, DVD player, or consoles. This setup is an incredible alternative to more expensive options and also provides you the ability to have more control over what you can and cannot do.
