FTV News wins at National Press Council Journalism Awards

The National Press Council Journalism Awards were announced today. FTV journalists Aaron Kuo and Liu Chang-hsiung won an award for a feature story about a group of young abuse victims who kayaked around Taiwan. An FTV “Hall of Dissent” feature about a group of girls kayaking around Taiwan to overcome domestic abuse has been selected for a National Press Conference Journalism Award.Aaron KuoFTV ReporterSome people at the bottom of society are vulnerable and need more exposure and forgiveness. They joined a trip around Taiwan in a sea kayak to help them overcome their past.
